Notre impact: Soutenir et concrétiser l’innovation en matière de recherche cérébrale

Since 2010, the Ontario Brain Institute has harnessed the province’s world-class expertise and innovation to pull in the same direction for real impact on care and policy.

Since 2010, the Ontario Brain Institute has harnessed the province’s world-class expertise and innovation to pull in the same direction for real impact on care and policy. We have leveraged an initial $2 million gift into a $600 million impact on brain healthcare. And with one in three individuals directly impacted by a brain disorder, the Ontario Brain Institute we are proud to have reached over 1,00,000 people through our programs and activities.

Bringing Lab to Life. Together.

We recently put ourselves and our team science approach to the test, and asked the researchers, companies, and community organizations we work with if we are indeed having a positive impact on the resources and abilities they need to achieve their goals.

  • advance research through team science,
  • invest in home-grown neurotech, and
  • support person-centred research and care in communities.

We invite you to see how we have worked together with our stakeholders to bring lab to life.

The difference a year makes: Inspired by the Government of Ontario’s re-investment in the Ontario Brain Institute, we asked some of our patient and community partners about their hope for the future of brain health. Here is what they had to say about OBI.
