Garth Smith Joins Tech Tour AI for Health 2026 to Advance Conversation on Scaling AI in Healthcare
9 mars 2026
Garth Smith, Ontario Brain Institute's Vice President of Business Development & Partnerships, will be speaking at Tech Tour AI for Health 2026 on March 11, 2026, in Bochum, Germany.
Now in its second year, Tech Tour AI for Health has grown into one of Europe's leading health AI partnering conferences, convening 40+ selected health AI companies and 60+ seasoned investors. Building on a first edition that brought together more than 150 investors, corporates, and healthtech startups, this year's program spans focused technology tracks in drug discovery, prevention, and virtual care, with an emphasis on accelerating the translation of AI innovation into healthcare practice.
Garth will participate in two sessions on March 11:
- 2:00 PM CET — Roundtable: National Partners Share Capacities and Demand Best Practices
- 6:30 PM CET — Thought Leadership Panel: Scaling Demand and Outcomes
The roundtable will bring together national ecosystem partners to exchange perspectives on building capacity and aligning demand for AI in health. The thought leadership panel will tackle one of the field's most pressing challenges: moving beyond proof of concept to scale AI tools in real-world clinical and care settings.
Both conversations align closely with OBI's mission to improve the lives of those living with brain disorders. As a hub connecting research, data, and industry, OBI is well-positioned to contribute to global discussions on how AI-enabled tools can deliver meaningful outcomes for patients and providers — and how national ecosystems like Ontario's can play a leading role in that transition.
Smith's participation reflects OBI's continued engagement with international health innovation networks and its commitment to bringing Canadian brain health expertise to the global stage.
