Opportunities with our Partner Organizations

Organization Position Application Deadline

Ontario Brain Institute is committed to providing accommodations for applicants at any stage of the recruitment and hiring process in accordance with Ontario Brain Institute policy, the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and the Ontario Human Rights Code. Should you require accommodation, please notify us and we will work with you to provide appropriate accommodation.

Volunteering with OBI

In support of Ontario Brain Institute’s (OBI) mission – to enhance the neuroscience research system, grow the Ontario neurotechnology cluster and improve brain health for Ontarians - our volunteer program aims to connect and engage with the communities we serve and provide opportunities for involvement and learning. Our goal is to recruit a team of energetic volunteers to help us plan and deliver the organization’s events.

We are committed to creating the best possible volunteer experience through a warm, safe, and inclusive environment where the time and efforts of our volunteers are recognized and nurtured and where dedicated employees and resources support meaningful volunteer opportunities.

OBI volunteers are provided opportunities to learn about the organization and its important initiatives through hands-on involvement in our events. For our student cohorts, OBI’s volunteer program provides opportunities to build out their CVs with valuable work experience, network with a diverse group of professionals across research, industry, and community; and connect with members of the neuroscience and neurotech fields, while cultivating transferrable learning skills.

Ideal candidates for our volunteer program are passionate about brain health and interested in emphasizing our impact. If this is you and you are interested in volunteering for future OBI events, please contact our Events Lead, Rasha Abdo, at rabdo@braininstitute.ca.
