The Ontario Brain Institute is proud to announce that Dr. Gillian Einstein has been renewed as the Wilfred and Joyce Posluns Chair in Women's Brain Health and Aging. The Chair was created to support an outstanding research program that will enhance women's brain health through the study of cognitive aging and associated disorders, to mobilize research around gender- and sex-responsive policies, and to develop interventions and training that can improve brain health and promote wellness in aging.
Dr. Einstein is a researcher and Professor of Psychology at the University of Toronto.
The Wilfred and Joyce Posluns Chair in Women's Brain Health and Aging is a partnership between the CIHR Institute of Aging, CIHR Institute of Gender and Health, Posluns Family Foundation, Women’s Brain Health Initiative, the Centre for Aging + Brain Health Innovation, and the Ontario Brain Institute.
Dr. Einstein’s research on cognitive neuroscience, gender, and health has significantly contributed to fill in the knowledge gaps around women’s brain health, to support graduate and undergraduate research training, and to inform the scientific, professional and public communities about the subject.
